The Saburashi wield a pair of swords that they bring with them on duty, a steel longsword and a silver shortsword. The Saburashi believe that silver is especially harmful to supernatural beings such as cryptids or gods, and thus always keep a weapon with it on them. Even when they are off-duty, they carry a small silver knife with them in case they cannot retrieve their swords.
The Saburashi generally do not use both swords at once in a battle, as they do not want to unnecessarily wear down the metal of the less effective sword. The exception to this is when they are fighting both humans and deities, which is so rare only two living Saburashi have tales of it.
